✨ World Book Day at Sythwood✨ We had a wonderful day celebrating our love of reading across the whole school. All of the children and staff dressed up and there was a wonderful positive 'buzz' in the air all day! 📚 Assembly: Y1-Y6 children attended special World Book Day assemblies where we spoke about the origin of World Book Day and focused on the benefits of reading on our lives. 👗 KS1 Costume Fashion Show: KS1 stole the spotlight with their fantastic costume fashion show! The children proudly walked the “runway,” showing off amazing outfits and enjoyed big cheers from their friends. 🎭 The Masked Reader: Throughout the day, all children joined in with our very own 'Masked Reader' challenge, guessing which grown‑ups were reading behind the masks. There was so much laughter, mystery, and excitement! 🎟️ Book Tokens for Every Child: Every child went home with their World Book Day book token to help them choose a new story to enjoy. 🎉 Fun Reading Activities: Classes took part in a variety of creative, book‑themed activities. It was a brilliant celebration of imagination, creativity, and the joy that books bring to our school community. Thank you to all families, children, and staff for making it such a memorable day! 📖💛
